long time no write!

sorry i have not wrtiten in a long while. i have just gotten wrapped up in everything here. since i last written i have gone on all my field trips for the tour (bath, straford, warwick, stonehenge, portsmouth) i think that i forgot one but i cant recall it at the moment. i have also toured the cotswolds and gone to london 4 times. i love london. i just captured me. i is such an easy city to know and to get around. the history and sights there are just as impressive. each time i went to london i left wanting more and not getting enough. it may seem like i was there a lot but really i just scratched the surface. 1st time i went with a huge group which is not ideal. peoples interest clash and stress is heightened. we did a double decker bus tour of london and a boat ride down the thames. we also saw the changing of the guard at buckingham palace and had pictures with the guards. sadly my camera died half way through the say so i have to steal pictures from people later to piece the day together. we had lunch at picadilly circus and hung out at trafalger square which i loved! i could stay there all day and people watch. we also walked along st. james park and the grand mall (which was closed to traffic so we walked down the middle of the busiest roads in london!). the second time i went it was to see the musical wicked, which i have been dying to see since ever! and i finally got to see it in london! what could be better...nothing. before that anna and i went to harrod's to l0ok about and shop however unless you are a hilton or royalty i dont think that you shop there everyday. the only thing that i got there was a sandwich for lunch. then we saw that show! amazing! everything i thought it was and more.. honestly i want to see it again right now! just out of words again like so many other times i have been on the times trip. the third time katie and i went to see westminster and the tower of london, but this place sucks in one area-everything closes so bloody early!- so we didnt get in to either on, but we did have a nice walk along the thames and saw the river and walked along tower bridge and then took a ride on the london eye (big ferris wheel). i am scared of hieghts but i loved it! i was amazing the views couldnt be beat anywhere. i was thrilled i wanted to do it again and agian. the last time that we went was sunday where katie and i went to service in westminster abbey ( the only way that you are allowed in on sundays) and we wondered around looking at all the famous people buried there! holy cow! katie said it best its the hollywood of the dead! anyone and everyone is there from kings to scientist to poets, novelist to counts and dukes. just spectacular. then we made our way to the tower. the tower was much larger than i though it was. looking in it doesnt look that large but when you get in there are buildings upon buildings. we saw the crown jewels 3 times. we just kept going around and around. they are huge! i cant believe it. i want bling like that! then we went on a tour of the castle by the Yeoman wardens, who you might not know live there year round with their families! go figure! we sent 3 and half hours there and we only left cause it was closing. the white tower was the most disappointing cause it was rather barren and just had guns and swords and the like in there. the best part was the beaucamp tower where prisoners where kept and the prisoners carved into the wall. just thinking about someone standing in the same spot it was 400 years ago carving that was astonishing. we then made our way to king's cross where the first harry potter was filmed and where harry enters hogworts from. we got pics of the bridge and us ruinning the trolley throug the platform 9 3/4. loved it! it was like being a little kid again. then we went to hard rock where dad requested a t-shirt from for a friend. then home to oxford. the journey is only between 1 1/2-2 hours but the long day of walking really catches up with you on the bus ride home! i didnt sadly get to any of the museums but there is always next time! yay!
